No need to hide from this event, Diamond Bar Country Club invites all to the midnight masquerade as they host the return of winter formal.

It will be held Friday January 16, 2015 at 22751 Golden Springs Dr. and it is encouraged  that all who attend wear a mask.

The Diamond Bar Country Club banquet hall is a 5,ooo square foot dinning hall that overlooks a golf course. Outside the banquet hall, there is a gazebo where people can take professional pictures.

There will be a pasta bar, unlimited soda, and a variety of desserts served at this event. The dance will be from 8p.m to 12a.m and the starting price for tickets is $35 with ASB and $40 without. When students return from winter break prices will rise and go up to $45 with or without ASB.

The first winter formal in two years will kick off Martin Luther King Jr.’s four day holiday weekend. After being gone for two years, winter formal returns to Bassett because the seniors decided the event was worth risking a financial loss.

Senior ASB vice president Alejandrina Vega says, “Winter formal 2015 will be more luxurious than any other year, wear your masques.” Most schools in the area do not have a winter formal. The dance, which is open to all grade levels, was missed by students.

Ms. Valencia and others believe people will go and school morale will improve if more activities are offered to students. FriarTux is paired with Bassett and is offering a 20 dollar discount to all those who mention their permission.
