Fantastic Beasts Takes on the Wizarding World

Fantastic Beast is a fantasy and adventure film that will take you back to the wizard world before the Harry Potter films began. J.K Rowling did her best to continue the special effects and new magical monsters that will blow anyone’s mind off. The director, David Yates of the new film has directed this new series of J.K. Rowling but also has the last four ultra-bleak blockbusters that wrapped the Potter franchise.

The film came out November 18,2016 and is set in New York in 1920’s with new characters that will make anyone fall in love with the movie. The “Beasts” takes its title from a textbook taught at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) is a magizoologist that catalogs magical creatures and keeps them in a suitcase. However, the suitcase got switched with a no-maj (a muggle a person who does not have magical powers), Jacob Kowalski, (Dan Fogler) who opened the suitcase and let all the monsters out in New York City. During the magical journey, we meet Goldstein (Katherine Waterston), the hard-nosed investigator of black magic that has been demoted to the registration, and her flirty sister Queenie (Alison Sudol), a mind reader who has never met a no-maj and regard Kowalski as an exotic creature.

The film has met and passed the standards because of how J.K Rowling and David Yates presented the magical monsters and how much of Harry Potters fans reacted positively to the movie. Considering the movie is PG-13 it shows the terrifying troubles that are going on in the wizard world and death. I do recommend to watch this movie so you can follow the adventures of Newt and the troubles in the wizard world.
