Fellow Olympian Andrew Thai is a QuestBridge finalist and perhaps a QuestBridge recipient. QuestBridge is a non-profit organization that has one of the greatest scholarships for prestigious colleges and universities in the U.S.

It starts off with two essays and numerous short-answer questions which then condenses the pool of competitors to finalists (which is where Andrew currently stands at).

Andrew was as happy as a lark when he got accepted as a finalist for QuestBridge, a rigorous and prestigious scholarship. Natalie Romo (12) said that he was giggling and blushing as they congratulated his feat.

His thoughts on getting accepted were “cool”. He claims to have met many people from around the country through this journey.

He was filled with jovial passion when he was accepted but it soon diminished in the aura of stress and solemnities as the deadlines for their college applications drew near (November 1st).

Now, he is awaiting to get paired up with one of eight colleges to get the scholarship, a full four years of college paid.

He says “It’s a lot of work but the opportunity and its benefits are well worth my time”.
