As requested by many, Six Flags is out and Disney is a go for Grad Nite. Class of 2017 will be the first class to have Disneyland host their Grad Nite since the class of 2012.

Although more expensive than Six Flags, the tickets are still cheaper than a single day admission. Traditionally, Six Flags has hosted Grad Nite for the price of $65 then PTSA rounds tickets up to $75-$85 because of transportation costs. Key aspects of Six Flags Grad Nite that it begins at ten pm until two am the next morning, closing the park to the public only for seniors.

Disneyland’s Grad Nite ticket price is $92 and with transportation included, $95 from Thursday, January 19th-31st during presale. From Thursday, February 9th-24th tickets will increase to $110 and on Thursday, March 2nd-31st tickets will be $120. The final cost will be $125 from Thursday, April 6th until the last day to purchase tickets on the 14th.

PTSA would like to encourage students to purchase tickets as soon as possible because of the price increases and noted that tickets will only be available for purchase on Thursdays and Fridays during lunch at the Activities Office.

Although pricier, with a Disneyland Grad Nite ticket, students will be admitted into the park as early as 9 am, depending on how early your school chooses to arrive.

Students can enter both California Adventure and Disneyland with the public, but at ten pm, California Adventure will be closed exclusively to seniors until two am.

Therefore, students can be at Disneyland for up to seventeen hours. Being that Grad Nite will be held on June 7th, a regular park admission to both parks that same day costs $160, thus students can save up to $65.
