Canned Food Drive for The Needy

Interact Club is asking for the school’s help. The club is hosting a canned food drive and is asking that Bassett students find it in their hearts to deliver a minimum of five cans of packaged food before November 17.

Cans are to be delivered to club coordinator, Ms. Henderson, in room 508.

Interact is working in coordination with the Servant Arms, a community based organization established to uplift the community by providing basic needs for local, low- to moderate-income residents.

The drive is part of Interact’s yearly mission to eliminate world hunger.

“We do this every year to fight world hunger and raise awareness. One in six Americans suffer from lack of food. Our efforts at Bassett are only part of the whole picture,” says Interact Club president Frank Le, senior
