                Did you sing along? Of course you did! Gucci Gang by Lil Pump took the number 4 spot on the 2017 billboard Hot 100. Along with Perfect by Ed Sheeran and Beyonce  (1), Rockstar by Post Malone ft. 21 Savage (2), Havana by Camila Cabello ft. Young Thug (3), and No Limit by G-Eazy ft. A$AP Rocky and Cardi B filling the top 5 spot.

                Although these songs were considered the top 5 Hottest Songs of 2017, the “Official Charts” concerning the top 40 Singles, Sales, and Streamed music said otherwise. The top 5 songs on the Official Charts are Shape of You by Ed Sheeran (1), Despacito (Remix) by Luis Fansi ft. Daddy Yankee and Justin Bieber (2), Castle on the Hill by Ed Sheeran (3), Unforgettable by French Montana ft Swae Lee (4), and Galway Girl by Ed Sheeran (5).

                Looking at 2017 music from a different angle, Despacito remix was viewed as last year’s number one song, holding the number 1 spot on the billboard for 16 weeks!

                Students from all grade levels have considered Despacito as 2017s song of the year. It was a very catchey song, with a nice melody. The remix of Despacito was a song that anyone was able to dance to .
