After the success of the Xenoverse series, Dragon Ball FighterZ finally comes out with new classic 2D dragon ball fighting for this generation’s console.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is partnering with Arc System Work, which is best known for its arcade 2D fighting game franchises and their most popular games are Guilty Gear and Blazblue. DBFZ will have high end anime graphics, and many features to make the game fun.

DBFZ has 3vs3 tag/support gameplay which allows players to master more than one fighter and bring a deep gameplay. The game also adds three new more characters from the Dragon Ball Super, which are Beerus, Hit, Goku Black. With the help of Arc System Work, DBFZ is a visual tour-de-force. Players can also experience really cool new combos from the characters, destructible stages, and famous scenes the Dragon Ball anime with a 60fps and 1080p resolution.

In this game, the controls are pretty easy to narrow down and you will improve within a few hours of practice. The audio effect is insane; the combat effects and changes in stages really make the game much more intense.

“Something tells me that executing combos in this game is gonna take a lot of time, practice, and experimenting.”- Anthony Orozco (11)

The game also allows you to customize your own character, to major details like skin color, clothing, and minor details like the character’s fighting techniques. DBFZ also includes a brand new story mode, which is different from the anime series, allowing the game to stand out from its anime counterpart, making the game much more interesting, and gives veteran fans something to enjoy.

For newcomers, Dragon Ball FighterZ gives them an exhilarating experience due to the game focusing more on Auto combos and a lot of different play styles to suit the way that players want to play.

In my opinion, I’m not really into any fighting game from the Arc System Work company because I usually get bored after 3 weeks of playing the game, but I would recommend this game for the people that love the 2D game fighting styles.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is a great game that offers fun and enjoyable battles. It comes out for the PS4, XBoxOne, and PC. Pick it up if you have any of these consoles for an enjoyable time.
