The month of sharing love has arrived and along with it are new movies to go on dates with your special someone. Nothing says romance better than a lack luster cheesy scary movie to get closer to your partner while having a good laugh.

This love bird holiday season’s movie of choice is Fantasy Island and it’s rated PG-13.  The movie is about a mysterious man referred to as Mr. Roarke who invites a group of people to this ‘fantasy island’ and claims that everything they wish for comes true while on the mansion and island.

At first glance, the guests find everything to be just another luxurious, remote tropical resort; but then their fantasies started to become reality. By this time, their dreams had quickly become their worst nightmares.

A few of the guests’ wishes include things like a woman wanting to take revenge on a childhood bully and another woman wishing to see her young daughter again after she passed away in an accident.

Fantasy Island movie to be right up your alley then you might be pleased to know that this film is actually the adaptation to the Fantasy Island TV series that played from early 1978 to mid 1984 and covered five seasons of this show before getting cancelled.

According to critic reviews, the mystery series was way better than the movie didn’t do a lot of justice to it. The movie fell short as it got a 10% on Rotten Tomatoes, 20% Metacritic, and a 4.6/10 on IMDb. Watch the Fantasy Island film at your own risk because a lot of people (critics) said that it wasn’t worth it and they regretted going. Before watching this movie, know that the film includes all kinds of violence, terror, some drug content, suggestive material and brief strong language.
